the third floor restaurant provides nice view of the water. The service was excellent, the food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Overall, a great meall

Villa Carlotta

This restaurant is opposite the Civic Park. We came to Taormina in the off-season and winter. This restaurant did not open. It is also a Sicilian Italian restaurant from the outside. It is also the kind of dinner. There are many hotels nearby! Of course, the hotel is closed in winter.

A gem! Nice atmosphere, quiet and elegant like a small jewel. Food was best we had eaten in 5 days visit to Sicily.  Wonderful saffron infused fish soup, pasta with pork and veal a nice break from  regional seafood. Highly recommend.  Thanks for great evening

We came by Gallodoro tired &amp; hungry from travelling from UK. The location &amp; terrace views mainly drew us in but we enjoyed the meal so much we returned last night. The food is locally sourced &amp; made on premises-the pizza was the best we&rsquo;ve had anywhere. The Parma ham &amp; melon sweet &amp; salty. The lasagne so tasty. The affogato a sweet but light end to the meal. Truly delicious &amp; the personal service, background music &amp; terrace with views are a tourist&rsquo;s dream. Reasonable prices for the tourist area. 10/10!!

Without doubt one of the best dining experiences we&rsquo;ve had anywhere in the world! The staff were impeccable, engaging, super friendly and masters of their craft. The food was faultless, the wine outstanding and the ambience was perfect. And the amazing view helped to ensure that the memory of the night will last a lifetime. Found this restaurant online with really good reviews then my hotel concierge confirmed it to be a great choice.  Atmosphere is fantastic, very nice setting without being stuffy.  Service was impeccable to the point that I searched out the manager to compliment our level of service and attention to detail.  Food was outstanding as well.  Best dining experience we had in Italy over a period of a two week stay.

It was realy good experience, food was great, they were flexible about choices for children.

The staff was very attentive and accommodating as we added 2 additional people. They made a larger table so we could all sit together. The food was amazing with beautiful presentation. The chef personally came out after dinner to greet us and made sure we enjoyed our meal.

Unbelievably bad. Already the starters were disappointing. My selection of crudos, based on the price, would appear eligible for sharing, but in reality it was fine for one person. At least the quality was OK. The main courses were a disaster. My tuna tataki was overcooked and bland. Interestingly, the restaurant uses the picture of this dish, but what I received did not resemble it in any way. Tataki should be seared on the outside and raw on the inside. Here there was no sear, but the  inside was overcooked and tasteless (no seasoning or flavour was discernible). My wife&#39;s pasta with squid ink was maybe worse, because trying it evoked a nauseous feeling. There was no taste or flavour, just a cloying black goo. To their credit (because we did not eat these dishes) we were not charged for them and they offered us an extra selection of desserts (at best OK). The service was, at least at the beginning, like a parody of a stereotypical Italian waiter. Maybe one more thing to mention. I made a reservation about a month in advance and we were the only ones who did not get a table by the window. I am genuinely shocked by the high ratings this restaurant gets. It was by far the worst meal we had during our week in Sicily.
